To all and sundry who have been reading Malaysian news, it would be difficult to miss The Star’s article on Malaysia’s first astronaut’s planned feats in space:
- play “batu seremban,” or “five stones”
- spin traditional Malay tops
- do batik painting
- make teh tarik
That’s right folks. We are aiming to paint batik and make teh tarik in space. That would be the highlight of our space endeavours. The Apollo Space Programme put into place the seeds of a technological revolution in the United States. Are we aiming for a teh tarik revolution?
