Skeletons in our closets
In 1984 in Kenya, the most complete skeleton of a young boy was found. While relegated to spend most of the last two decades in Kenya’s museum cabinet, recently the skeleton was put on public display.
Yup, the religious extremists. They have never liked evolution, have they? The Bishop Boniface (yes, that’s his real name), head of Kenya’s 30 evangelical denominations, went as far as to say that “These sort of silly views are killing our faith“.
I wonder if the Bishop ever considered that it was his understanding of his faith that was silly, instead of a well established old scientific fact proven by thousands of independent experiment (and not to mention, several Supreme Court decisions) over the last century.
