In Beijing, China
In Beijing, China now. Beijing is surprisingly smoggy. I can imagine that respiratory problems must be common here. The sun is never to be seen and the environment can seem to be pretty gloomy. The summer here is humid and its possible to start sweating whilst standing still at night. Needless to say, many can be seen shirtless at night.
On the plus side though, women are cute-ish; there doesn’t seem to be moral hang-ups with wanting to look good and flaunt it too. A “Nice!” Borat-style would be the reaction of most foreigners, yours truly included.
Most amusing are the Chinese to English translations. We saw “Happy Drug Store” and “Happy people hands make happy massage”.We’re extremely busy here. It’s a Sunday and we’ve had a slew of meetings and demos today too. It would be nice to finally head back to Malaysia and get some much-needed rest.
