FOSS.in 2007
So it looks like I’ll be off to FOSS.in 2007 in Bangalore, India, thanks to the IOSN Inter-Regional Travel Exchange Grants. FOSS.in is India’s grassroots FOSS hacker/developer conference (much like LinuxConf.au or FOSDEM). It looks like a great conference from the years past and judging by the mailing list, this year should be fantastic as well!
Earlier this year, I was at FOSDEM 2007 (Europe’s grassroot FOSS conference) and a couple years ago, I attended LinuxConf.au (Australia’s grastroot FOSS conference). Both were fantastic in organization, exposure and the incredible levels of constructive energy. I’m expecting for FOSS.in to be along the same line! The great bit of these grassroots conferences is that one comes away feeling even more energized
