Cambodia, Day 4
I woke up early today. Well, at 9.30am, which is late as far as Cambodians are concerned, but damnit, it’s a holiday and I’ll sleep in if I feel like
I shot an AK-47 today, and a even a handgun. The recoil was a bitch; I have no idea how professionals handle the weapons. Went go-karting too which was fairly fun.
Met up with the rest of the Couch Surfing gang and went off to the Oudong mountains (hills, really) for a spectacular sunset. The landscape reminded me of what I saw in South Africa almost a decade ago. Tranquil place, I can see why the Buddhist temple was built there.
A blind massage followed once we got back to town (Seeing Hands massage). Fabulous, though painful. Dinner, more golden liquid and getting Happy (note the capital H).
Leaving tomorrow, and I’m actually sad.
