To Hitch

Who can forget Hitchens iconic phrase: “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence”?

He’s easily one of the most prominent intellectuals and accomplished orators of the 21st century. Yet, it has been recently, in the post 9/11 world, that he focused his intellect on religious tyranny and the on-going destruction of human rights, freedom of expression in the public sphere and the marginalization of a secular society.

In light of his stage 4 esophageal cancer, the fine folk at /r/atheism compiled a video toasting Hitchens on the tremendous impact his work had on rationalists worldwide:

I’ll miss him far more then Jobs or dmr.
